Hi, I’m Tom, and over the course of my 20 year career as a product designer, I’ve developed a strong passion for finding elegant solutions to complex problems. I’m a strong proponent of a user-focused design thinking process and I believe that good design has the capability to improve the lives of others.

I’m currently the Creative Director at Ketra - an Austin, Texas based LED Lighting manufacturer. I’m comfortable working in small teams or independently, and in start-ups, consultancies or corporate environments. My designs have been recognized with multiple industry awards, including a 2011 IDEA Finalist Award, and I have been granted 10 design and utility patents.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with team sports such as baseball, softball and basketball, and will gladly accept any Simpsons related trivia challenge!
